CSL Seqirus hosted an educational session with two keynote speakers :

  • New Zealand’s Dr G. Edwin Reynolds - “Predicting the flu for 2022”
  • UK Specialist GP Dr George Kassianos - “How the UK achieve High Influenza Vaccination rates: Specific vaccines for specific ages”

“Tailoring specific vaccines for specific ages” activity on 22/2/2022, has been endorsed by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) and has been approved for Tuesday 22 February 2022 for 1.5 CME credits for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) purposes.

This Continuing Medical Education (CME) event has also been endorsed by The College of Nurses Aotearoa (NZ) Inc as one hour of professional development.

HPV Vaccine

CSL Seqirus has conducted a series of presentations by Dr Michelle Van Rensburg - Medical Manager CSL Seqirus NZ

“HPV Vaccination - New Zealand and International Real World Evidence”

Dr Van Rensburg presents latest New Zealand data on the declining rates of genital warts, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 2 or worse (CIN2+) and colposcopy referrals since the implementation of HPV vaccination in New Zealand.

Michelle also presents latest international real world evidence, including studies from Sweden and England showing the relationship between early vaccination and reduction in risk of cervical cancer.
